During a factory tour at Audi, our employees got a firsthand look at how highly automated production processes work in the automotive industry. The interplay between robotics, digitally controlled systems, and efficiently organized manufacturing processes was particularly impressive. Step by step, it became clear how individual components are transformed into a precisely manufactured vehicle body - a prime example of modern conveyor technology, automation, and industrial efficiency.
A central highlight was the pressing line: Here, body parts are formed with a pressing force of up to 7,700 tons - an impressive example of high-performance machinery and industrial precision. The insights gained provide valuable inspiration for our daily work in the field of conveyor technology.
After the plant tour, the team took the opportunity to have lunch together at the market halls. In a relaxed atmosphere, the focus was on exchange, networking, and personal conversations - an important component of a successful corporate culture.
Another highlight of the program was a visit to the museum, which captivated visitors with its historic vehicle models and intricate model-making. Here, the evolution of automotive technology came to life in a truly impressive way. Around 12:30 p.m., the group began their return trip to Albaching - taking with them a wealth of new impressions and inspiration.
